Is this a messaging app?

No. BackBy never sends messages. Your people check Plans when they choose, then act using the tools you already trust.

Do you track me or keep my info?

No. We don't keep IP addresses, names, contacts, or cookies. Only pseudonymous Plan events and your optional encrypted note.

What if BackBy goes away?

Plans are append-only with a signed history that mirrors can host. Your Backers can still verify state and unlock your note off-platform.
